Charlie Productions : Katie Dolly
Katie ran the BAFTA Best Short Film Award when we were shortlisted with both "Russell Square" and "Burnt Bernard" and in both cases she would have been perfectly within her rights to boot us out of the competition as soon as she realised that we had lied (twice in a row) on the entry form about already having a film print.
Instead of doing this Katie quietly canvassed all the judges opinions to help us make an informed decision as to whether it was worth spending the money to get the prints made. Since we've been living off the kudos ever since we shall now take a moment to bow in her general direction because without her we'd never have known quiet how close we actually came...
