Actress: "Shirley Wood" in "Russell Square"" Director: "City Spirit"

Alex is actually an animator whose work recently featured in, oh God what was that called, that animation thing on the telly done by Baby Cow. She did Posh Spice. But anyway she plays "Shirley Wood" in "Russell Square" and it probably only did it because we bullied her to. Typical isn't it how someone who claims to be really embarrassed and shy and not knowing what she should do next can turn out to look completely at ease in front of a camera. It's a small part but I think she's great and if you're wondering then this is Ben writing this and so no I'm not saying this just because she's my girlfriend because she isn't.

Alex has now graduated from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside and her degree film, the animated short "City Spirit" has been nominated for a National Student Award and selected by the British Council for their catalogue of the best of British Film.
