Charlie Productions : Art DirectorThe Art Director is someone we haven't come in regular contact with in the past due to our working on restricted budgets (ie finding the right place and shooting there with some added props). Indeed, it wasn't until Death Of The Revolution that we finally could change a room to look how we wanted it. This took us all the way into redecoration. This isn't very far in the skillset of the Art Director. The Art Director is in charge of how the physical things we are going to film are going to look. Sets have to be designed and built, locations have to be changed to look how they should, props have to be made and bought, all in consultation with Clothes and Make-Up and the DoP. Art Directors get to build the worlds. Much like Slartibartfast. Charlie Productions believe passionately in doing things and always trying to stop in
time for tea.
