Charlie Productions : Production DesignerIt took us a long while to work with an actual real-life Production Designer. We recommend it. A Production Designer will bring a proper visual sensibility to all the physical things in your film. This gives every frame of the film added meaning - there is a reason to how things are in this world, rather than this is the world that happened to be there when we turned up to shoot it that day... A Production Designer will break down everything that is needed for the film - from the props, both used by the actors and just added to the background to give more of a feel of who their characters are, all the way up to the design of the spaces they are in, be it a location dressed to look correct for the character or a set designed and built to be just what you can never find in real life. Whilst overseeing the work of their department, they will work with the Director Of Photography, the Costume Designer and Hair and Make-Up in order to create a unified visual idea for the film.
