Charlie Productions : Props MasterOne of the coolest-sounding jobs on a film, conjuring up (in my mind anyway) the idea of a kind of hip-hop pirate sailing the seven seas, it is actually about keeping on top of all the property on the film - all the objects in the film handled by the actors, all the objects not handled by the actors, if it's onscreen then the Prop Master is in charge of it. Which can be a mammoth task. Trucks can be filled with all the clocks and watches, chairs and tables, knives and guns, paper, computers, desks, lamps, beds, tv screens, knick-knacks, dodgems, whatever may be required... Charlie Productions believe passionately in doing things and always trying to stop in time for tea.
