Charlie Productions : British Council

The Film Dept. at the British Council, especially Kevin and Satwant, are one of the most fantastically pro-active public bodies in the British Film Industry. Despite having a very wide remit to fill they are one of the few organisations you can find and talk to at every film festival, one of the few organisations willing to give a young filmmaker the time of day.

They were the first organisation to give us any recognition and have subsequently supported three of our films, "Russell Square", "Old Man Dies" and "City Spirit".

They also gave us £800 towards the print costs of "Russell Square", and were the first people to put their hands in their pockets at the time.

Cheers.

Charlie Productions believe passionately in doing things and always trying to stop in time for tea.
