09.03.10Directors Lounge
"Tell" treated the fun and funky german art-school people to some of Laura's wonderful filmic delights we hear. Shown as part of the Opening Mix for the beginning of the Directors Lounge festival in Berlin it sat among the good folk. Laura's film is still going strong on the festival circuit so keep watching so we can give you a holler/prod/scream when it's near you. My hands are becoming red raw from all the applause Laura deserves but by JOVE it's fun and is worth every clap.
01.03.10Tell March-ing Into March And Beyond

"Tell" has progressed from being a selected film to a nominated film at the Swansea Bay Film Festival 2010. It's almost as if the weather knew good news was afoot, because we're looking out of the office and it's constant sunshine. I've even spied a rabbit or two. And a bonus is that they're not dead ones. Happiness all round. Be sure to wander into Wales for the event if you're in the area and if not raise a mug o' tea and salute Laura's fantastic work.

Our Mister Ben Blaine has been named one of the '50 Best Blogs for Moviemakers' from Moviemaker Magazine. 19.01.10Tell Is Spreading...
Starting as we mean to go on Laura Brocken's short film, "Tell" has already garnered three future screenings in the first month of this year we're calling 2010.

Now isn't that something. Here's to plenty more and when we have more information about places and times and all the gubbins we'll be sure to tell you. Yup, just you.
12.01.10BiNGO Wins Something
Our resident clown who barks for tea, and keeps the office stocked up on wrongun laughter and generally talks about the Blaines behind their back, has gone won something. Katie McCullough took part in the 48Hr Film Challenge over in Jersey as did the Blaines and scripted the winning film, 'Morning Mist', taking the coveted winning place taking home of £1000 and the jubilation of trumping her own bosses. Woot! They are extremely happy for her but are forcing her to make the tea today as polite penance. It's called tough love and they are beaming creative brothers waiting for their cups to be filled. But at least we have biscuits... balance is restored.
