Mark is an American in London for the culture of drinking. Panda is a Chinese bear, here to mate with a female he can't bare.
Trapped and lonely, they become friends. Mark loves Sarah, Sarah only loves moths, and if Panda won't mate, Mark will have to give him a hand...
Funded by Film4 and the UK Film Council through their prestigious Cinema Extreme programme, "Hallo Panda" premiered at the Encounters Festival in Bristol before going on to be shown on Channel 4 and to win fans and awards all around the globe.
