"I desperately want to own Hallo Panda on DVD. I woke up late one night, with the telly still on and this short film playing. I stayed up to watch it and fell in love. I didn't stop talking about it the next day - despite the fact everyone thought I had watched panda porn." - Katie Steel

"It's a great film... funny, moving, thoughtful, and involves wanking. Hoorah." - Helena Rigg

"Completely loved it. Genius!" - Alison Rose

"Just wanted to say a massive thankyou for making Hallo Panda. The best short Channel 4 has had on at 4am for the whole of its running. Probably the best thing it has ever put on at 4am. Hope you had as much fun making it as I did watching it. I tried telling my friends just how awesomely random it is and they didn't quite believe me, so I had to order the DVD set... Thanks again!" - Lara Proctor

"My friend and I were flicking through the TV the other night when we stumbled upon this film. It was one of those moments where we had to look at each other to check that we were both seeing and hearing the same thing, and neither of us were actually on some sort of drug... I don't think we've ever laughed so hard for so long...! I can't wait to get the DVD. The last four days have consisted of nothing but Hallo Panda quotes. Thankyou thankyou thankyou. And if you're ever looking for two extras call us! :)"
- Aoife McMorrow

"Came across it one night (or early morning) on Channel 4. Really funny and memorable short film. So surreal it's classic."
-Liam Baillie

"Really enjoyed it" - Alice Lowe

"The visuals were all stunning... very funny"

"Loved it." - Rebecca Hitt

"Bloody marvellous" - Darren Bender.

"People really loved the film. Numerous people mentioned it was one of their favorites. And Hallo Panda received pretty much non-stop laughs."

- Peter Davies

"I'm still laughing" - Steve Beard

"I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that having watched the Charlie's Shorts DVDs you sent, I'm now really looking forward to your next film! You've done some great stuff and I won't list all my favourites but I thought 'Burnt Bernard' and 'The Audition' were both really good and of course 'Hallo Panda' is great."
- Gareth Crook

"It really captures that woozy, boozy feeling when you think you are falling for someone...it's technically excellent and it is funny and moving too..." - Tracy O'Riordan

"Rare to see a short film that totally sustains its length. Great tone too... I laughed more during this than several short films put together" - David Lemon

"I nearly pissed myself laughing... I often think of the song at the end of the film - bloody marvellous" - LC Davis

"I don't know how I came to find your blog, or why I am writing on it. I too stumbled across your film a few months ago late at night. It is indeed a pretty strange thing to find yourself watching. It has disturbed me, but in a positive sense. Personally I felt I stumbled across something special, and can't believe you're not world famous. This is already one of my favourite films, despite only seeing it once and missing the beginning. I tried to find it on DVD, but can only assume such a thing does not exist. I have had to fill in the void by purchasing an animal costume. Thanks for making me crazy." - Jode
