Painting a magical portrait of the London Underground this delightful film is one of the best we've ever made. It follows the adventures of a man named Russell Square as he travels through the monochrome world of the Gap with only an Angel to guide him.

After recieving support from the British Council, "Russell Square" has been screened in Film Festivals across the world including, Dresden (2004), York (2001), Leeds Independent (2001), Wood Green (2003) and a tour of Papua New Guinea (2002). It has been distributed on cable tv and also on the internet via Reelscreen.com and Virtuetv.com.

"...A very nice little film...anyone who has travelled the underground will recognise the world you portray..."
-
Robert Elms, BBC Radio London.

"...A really lovely...orginal piece that is genuinely uplifting..."
-
Stevie Lee, Contagious Films.

"...It's very funny and strangely moving, with some lovely details..."
-Pippa Best, Zephyr Films.

"...The Blaine's depiction of a nightmare world in the corridors of the empty tube network is noteworthy..."
-

"...Very Impressive, I know shooting in stations can be horrendous, but your continuity worked well within the narrative..."
-Andrew Mula

"...just watched Russell Square over on virtuetv website and wanted to say, f***ing brilliant. love dit."
