One joint too many and you never know where you'll end up...
2007, 7mins 34secs, DVCam.
Mark needs to get off his arse and get a job but he prefers to smoke his days away. Introduce a joint too many and a unique coffee table and you have a nightmare of sorts.
StrangeWoods walked away with the coveted 24 Hour London Film Challenge Award in 2007. The concept was simple, it was the doing part that was hard. A name and a genre of film were picked and many groups set about making theirs the best to be labelled as the Winning Short. StrangeWoods was the title and black comedy was the genre. These were picked from a hat by actress Christi Duffield at 11am on the first day of the challenge. At 11am the next day the film was finished. Adam looked like a wild eyed madman having not slept at all for days. Greg Duffield did a great job with the films look under difficult conditions. The acting is electric from a group working together for the first time.
